    As a Toyota Master Certified General Manager, I am proud to lead a team of like-minded professionals here at Elk Grove Toyota.

    In my 25 years of automotive sales, I have managed both import and domestic dealerships. I have worked with lots of employees, but I am especially proud of the team we have here at Elk Grove Toyota. Everyone has the goal of keeping our customers happy and we can truly say there is "Nowhere Else But Here".

    My automotive career started out in the Service Department of my father's garage and gas stations in Northern Arizona.  I currently drive a White Scion xB, decorated with Elk Grove Scion graphics.  You may have seen our fleet on the road, at our Scion events or just at our store. I have also owned a Scion xB 1st generation, but my all-time favorite Toyota remains my 2007 Tundra 4x4.

    My wife and family all love our Toyota products.

    I like the Northern California area and the waterways of the Sacramento Delta. In my free time I can be found boating.

    As the area's only Signature Certified Toyota Dealership, we pride ourselves with having an easy, transparent buying process that makes it easy for customers to do business with us.  Should you have questions or concerns please feel to contact me.  It will be my pleasure to answer your questions and to resolve any concerns you might have.

    I am the Service Director here at Elk Grove Toyota.  Our hope is to meet or exceed the customers' expectations for quality automotive service.  The only way we can do this is by providing a quality and cost effective repair, done right the first time.  We have the facilities and people to do the job right in a reasonable length of time.  Because of this, we see more Toyotas for maintenance than any other dealer in Northern California.

     

    I began in the automotive business almost 40 years ago when I started washing cars at my father's Chevy dealership.  I started my Florin Road/Elk Grove Toyota career in 1982.  Since that time I have watched as the Florin Road store expanded several times and when we opened our new store in Elk Grove.  Over the last 28 years there have been changes in Toyota and the community.  I am proud to be part of both.

     

    I am a Sacramento native and have spent my entire life in the area.  I enjoy the camping, water and snow sports available here.  Personally I drive a Toyota FJ Cruiser and my wife drives a Toyota Prius.  When my oldest daughter started driving I made sure she had a safe and reliable car ? a Toyota Corolla.  In my spare time I enjoy attending my two daughters' sporting events.

    My name is Karen Rowe and I am the Finance Director here at Elk Grove Toyota-Scion.  I started with the company back in July of 1984.  I began as an assistant to the Finance Director and then was promoted to a Finance Manager position in 1993.  I was promoted to the position of Finance Director in 1993.  I am a Master Certified Finance Manager trained through the University of Toyota.  I was the first Master Certified Finance Manager certified by Toyota in the United States.  My staff and I are all Master Certified and we maintain our certification through continued courses offered by the University of Toyota.  Our goal is to offer each customer a friendly and informative financial service process.  We want the process to be customer centered and geared towards each of our customer's needs.  I am married and have two children.  My family and I enjoy spending time in our motorhome camping and boating.  One of my favorite things to do is scrap booking.

    Hello.  My name is Susan Kellner and I am the Business Manager for Elk Grove Toyota.  I started in the automotive business around 1974 with the Snider organization at Paul Snider's Pontiac Mazda Subaru dealership on Florin Road.   I started by working the contract desk and received an education by working all the Business Office desks before becoming Office Manager in 1981.  In 1986 I became a Business Manager.  Since I have been in the automotive business for 36 years, it just goes to show that I love what I do.  I have a dedicated staff of excellent employees who are very knowledgeable in all aspects of the Business Office.  These dedicated employees will help you with whatever your needs may be.  We process all paperwork related to the purchase of your vehicle, from DMV registration to the service contract registration, just to name a couple.  Our goal is to help anyone who calls with a concern or a question.  I have one daughter, Amber Rose, who, as you may have guessed, is also in the automotive business.  I live in Elk Grove and support our city.

    I have over 20 years in the auto industry and my job is to train and educate, as well as to motivate the sales force to best meet your vehicle needs.  We are one of the very few Toyota Signature Stores in Northern California.   You will find all of the management staff on the same page -- working with your best interests in mind.     I was born in San Francisco and at a young age we moved to a small country town call Pilot Hill.  There I was raised on a ranch, which means I have a work ethic second to none. Having this background has made me a stronger employee and I am very grateful for my life experiences.  I have three sons and one daughter that just fill my heart with love and joy, only to be topped by six grandchildren that keep me youthful in mind, body and spirit.  On my days off I enjoy walking, hiking, snow skiing, dirt biking, bicycling, dancing, cooking and outings with my family.

    My name is Jim Blacksten. I started in the automotive profession back in 1996 with Toyota in Stockton.

     I was a salesperson for 2 ½ years then was promoted to finance manager.  After 4 years in finance I decided to help salespeople create a positive and caring approach and become a sales manager.  After 10 years with Stockton Toyota an opportunity became available at the brand new Elk Grove Toyota.  I jumped at the chance to work for this world class dealership.  My new dealership has a beautiful building and the people are a joy to work with.

         My experience with Toyota has allowed me to watch many customers pass their Toyotas on to their children so that they can put the next 100,000 miles on it.  My wife enjoys her Camry as she commutes 80 miles each day.  She will probably pass it on to one of my nephews soon.  We love taking our Sequoia on family trips to Reno, San Diego, and Washington State where I grew up.  My father owns a Sequoia and usually has to arm wrestle my mom to see who gets to drive it to the store. 

         Whatever our destination happens to be, my 8 and 11 year old boys are always ready to play a game of football or basketball.  In my spare time I love playing golf, hitting tennis balls, and recently I am enjoying John Grisham Adventure novels.
