    As a Toyota Master Certified General Manager, I am proud to lead a team of like-minded professionals here at Elk Grove Toyota.

    In my 25 years of automotive sales, I have managed both import and domestic dealerships. I have worked with lots of employees, but I am especially proud of the team we have here at Elk Grove Toyota. Everyone has the goal of keeping our customers happy and we can truly say there is "Nowhere Else But Here".

    My automotive career started out in the Service Department of my father's garage and gas stations in Northern Arizona.  I currently drive a White Scion xB, decorated with Elk Grove Scion graphics.  You may have seen our fleet on the road, at our Scion events or just at our store. I have also owned a Scion xB 1st generation, but my all-time favorite Toyota remains my 2007 Tundra 4x4.

    My wife and family all love our Toyota products.

    I like the Northern California area and the waterways of the Sacramento Delta. In my free time I can be found boating.

    Hello, my name is Grant Orlando and I am proud to be a Sales Manager here at Elk Grove Toyota. I started with the organization in 1998 and it is the best place to work on earth. 

    I have over 20 years in the auto industry and my job is to train and educate, as well as to motivate the sales force to best meet your vehicle needs.  We are one of the very few Toyota Signature Stores in Northern California.   You will find all of the management staff on the same page -- working with your best interests in mind. We provide consistent service each and every day of operation.  I am always available for you to contact if you have any questions, or even just to point you in the right direction.

    I was born in San Francisco and at a young age we moved to a small country town call Pilot Hill.  There I was raised on a ranch, which means I have a work ethic second to none. Having this background has made me a stronger employee and I am very grateful for my life experiences.  I have three sons and one daughter that just fill my heart with love and joy, only to be topped by six grandchildren that keep me youthful in mind, body and spirit.  On my days off I enjoy walking, hiking, snow skiing, dirt biking, bicycling, dancing, cooking and outings with my family.

    My name is Jim Blacksten. I started in the automotive profession back in 1996 with Toyota in Stockton.

     I was a salesperson for 2 ½ years then was promoted to finance manager.  After 4 years in finance I decided to help salespeople create a positive and caring approach and become a sales manager.  After 10 years with Stockton Toyota an opportunity became available at the brand new Elk Grove Toyota.  I jumped at the chance to work for this world class dealership.  My new dealership has a beautiful building and the people are a joy to work with.

         My experience with Toyota has allowed me to watch many customers pass their Toyotas on to their children so that they can put the next 100,000 miles on it.  My wife enjoys her Camry as she commutes 80 miles each day.  She will probably pass it on to one of my nephews soon.  We love taking our Sequoia on family trips to Reno, San Diego, and Washington State where I grew up.  My father owns a Sequoia and usually has to arm wrestle my mom to see who gets to drive it to the store. 

         Whatever our destination happens to be, my 8 and 11 year old boys are always ready to play a game of football or basketball.  In my spare time I love playing golf, hitting tennis balls, and recently I am enjoying John Grisham Adventure novels.

    I started my career with Toyota in 1986 when I joined the fleet department at Toyota Central in downtown Los Angeles.  During my time there, I learned from a gentleman who would end up the number 2 salesperson in the country. I took that experience with me when I was hired at Longo Toyota in El Monte, the number 1 Toyota dealership in the USA.

     

    I was fortunate enough to be hired at Florin Road Toyota during the summer of 1991 and I relocated to northern California.  The attitude of our store is to ?under promise and over deliver? I treat all of my customers whether it be new, repeat or referral, (many of whom are still in southern California) the same way.  I strive to make it the best possible experience for our customers, before, during and after the sale.

     

    Part of that comes from having a family of employees that have been here as long as or longer than I. It is actually easier than it sounds because we have such a great team.

     

    When I?m not here, I enjoy reading, detailing cars, and riding my beach cruiser along the American river. I try very hard not to crash it.
