Summer music festivals have become showcases for not only the best of the music scene, but also the best of the auto industry as well.  Many major automakers are big time sponsors of some of the largest music festivals across the country this year, and Toyota is taking this collaboration one step further by making its first-ever public reveal at a music festival.  Attendees at the 2013 Stagecoach Music Festival near Palm Springs will be treated to the reveal of the redesigned 2014 4Runner mid-size SUV on Saturday, April 27.

While many of those who weren't impacted by the devastation of Hurricane Sandy may have forgotten about that horrible storm just a few months ago, many areas are still crippled and actively working to recover from it.  Toyota has far from forgotten about the fact that people still need help; in fact, the automaker has donated twenty vehicles to assist with the effort.

In the fiercely competitive automotive industry, sharing secrets and helping other companies develop groundbreaking innovation is usually avoided at all costs.  However, a trend is appearing with major manufacturers joining forces to create new technology that will benefit us all.  Toyota is the latest company to enter this new territory and is partnering up with a German automaker to collaborate on major research and development in four key areas.

Putting its faith into its strong lineup of 2013 cars, Toyota set some exceptionally high goals for itself in January sales.  Impressively, they sailed right past it, shaking up expectations and making us really excited for the year ahead.
