What Comes Next for the Toyota Camry?

We here at Elk Grove Toyota are big fans of the 2012 Toyota Camry. The mid-size offering from our favorite Japanese automaker is manufactured right here in the United States, and to say that this has been a good move for them would be a serious understatement. In fact, Toyota loves the American-made Camry so much that they're even planning to export it to South Korea in the near future.
A Japanese automaker exporting an American-made vehicle to South Korea? Sounds more like Toyota is a world automaker if you ask us. And this is no small move either. Toyota is planning to move about 6,000 vehicles overseas, which is almost one for every employee of the plant. If it sounds like they could use a little help, don't worry. Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky is actually the largest Toyota plant outside Japan, so we know that they can answer the call.
When asked about the move Yoshimi Inaba, president and COO of Toyota Motor North America, Inc. said, "We look forward to other opportunities to continue growing exports from our American operations."1 If anything it sounds like they're anticipating more work coming to the plant!
Of course, we should note that this added work load won't be affecting the new Toyota models that we love to see at 9640 West Stockton Blvd. Elk Grove, CA 95757 any time soon. That means you can arrange a test drive on models like the Toyota 4Runner, Venza, and Tundra simply by contacting us online or by phone at (877) 312-4647. Once you've taken your next Toyota for a spin, we can also shed some light on the financing process, as well as how you can keep it in tiptop shape through our dedicated parts and service departments.
