Everywhere you look, the new Camry has been enhanced.  Most notably, the 2012 Toyota Camry boasts increased fuel efficiency, advanced safety features, cutting-edge technology upgrades, and an introductory roadside assistance program.

Fuel Efficiency:

The new Camry 4-cyl engine (178 horsepower) achieves an EPA-estimated fuel economy of 25 mpg city/35 highway/28 mpg combined, while the V6 engine (268 horsepower), available in the SE and XLE grades, enjoys EPA-estimated ratings of 21 mpg city/30 mpg highway. 

A discussion of Camry fuel efficiency wouldn't be complete without mentioning the Camry Hybrid.  New from the ground up, the Camry Hybrid boasts an impressive EPA-estimated 43 mpg city/39 mpg highway/41 mpg combined rating thanks to a highly revised hybrid powertrain, lighter weight, and optimized aerodynamics.  In fact, this represents a 12 mpg improvement for city driving compared to the previous generation!

Safety:

With safety as the number one priority at all times, Toyota has added two additional airbags (front-passenger's knee airbag and rear-seat side airbags) as standard equipment to all 2012 Camry models.  This new Camry boasts a grand total of 10 standard airbags to protect its occupants.

Additionally related to safety, the new Camry makes available the new Blind Spot Monitor system which detects vehicles in the driver's blind spots. When the system detects a vehicle in the adjacent lane, it alerts the driver using indicators on the side mirrors.

Technology:

Technological advancements abound in the new Camry, it is Entune, Toyota's innovative new multimedia system, that really impresses.  Entune leverages the mobile smartphone to provide a richer in-vehicle experience with fully integrated access to navigation, entertainment and information services.  Toyota Entune debuts the first-ever support for engaging mobile apps, such as Bing, OpenTable, and movietickets.com, along with accessing useful travel-related services, such as live weather, traffic, fuel information (location and price), stocks, and sports. Moreover, Toyota Entune brings the largest selection of music options available to a vehicle, including iHeartRadio's 750+ stations, and Pandora's personalized music service.

Introductory 5 Yr Roadside Assistance:

Not only does the new Toyota Camry include ToyotaCare, Toyota's complimentary 2 year / 25,000 scheduled maintenance program. It's Toyota's way of saying "thank you" for purchasing a new Toyota Camry.
